Stop Payment: Multiple Checks If you’re concerned about a series of checks that you’ve written, you can initiate a stop payment request to prevent the checks from being cashed. Once approved, the stop payment remains in effect for six months. A service fee will be assessed. Please call us at 1.800.633.7077 for current fee info.
