Charter Bank Personal Banking Guide

Adding an External Account Your accounts at other financial institutions can be linked to Online Banking with Charter Bank, so you can transfer money between two financial institution accounts that you own without ever leaving home! When you go to add another account, you are asked to verify your ownership of that account. There are three ways to verify an external account. • Add Instantly: Link your external account with your bank username and passowrd. • Bank Approval: External Account will be presented to bank admin for approval. • Transaction Challenge: Charter Bank will make two small deposits of less than a dollar into your external account. You will be asked to verify those amounts within Online Banking. Once they are confirmed, you can begin transferring money to/from the external account.
