Move Money (Payments & Transfers) Switch Direct Deposit Use the switch direct deposit feature to switch your recurring direct deposits from your previous financial institution account to your First Citizens Bank account. If you already have direct deposits set up, you can view the status or manage your direct deposits on the Your direct deposits page. On the Payments & Transfers landing page, click Switch direct deposit . 1. Search for your employer or payroll provider under “Who pays you?” and click the Continue button. 2. Adding your employer/payroll provider. a. If your employer/payroll provider is registered, you will see their name come up as an option, select the employer/payroll provider and click the Continue button. b. If the employer/payroll provider is not registered you will have the option to create a new depositor, Click the “Not here? Create a new depositor” link.
