Frequently Asked Questions General

What is a device? A device can be a browser or application on your computer or smart phone. What is a SAC? A Secure Access Code (SAC) is a code required to access Online Banking and adds an extra layer of protection to help secure your information. I’ve already registered my device, why am I being asked to enter another SAC? The system did not recognize your device, which can happen for a number of reasons. Perhaps your browser has been set to automatically delete cookies upon closing or perhaps they were accidentally cleared from your history. Check your device setting to ensure you are retaining your cookies after each session. If it has been a year since you last registered your device, for security purposes, you will be required to re-register your devices. Stop payments require a check number. How do I stop electronic payments (ACH) that do not have a check number? We can stop electronic payments (ACH) with a written message, with all payment details, from your online banking to customer service. What happens during nightly processing, and when does this occur? Nightly processing is when pending transactions are converting to settled transactions. During this window balances and transactions may not be fully displayed until nightly processing has completed. Nightly processing normally occurs around 7:00pm to 8:30pm. We display a message on the right side of the account landing page to notify you when we are in nightly processing. If you are on a mobile device you will need to click the “more” button to see the message. Why can’t I reset my password online? For security purposes, passwords can only be reset from a registered device. What is advanced online banking? Our advanced online banking offering allows businesses of all sizes to utilize advanced online banking features for better management of their users, tiered payment controls, dual action for non-transactional actions, as well as enhanced reporting.
