Services Skip a Payment
The Skip A Payment program gives you the option to defer monthly payments on an eligible MAX Loan. The skipped payments are added to the end of the loan without affecting your credit. If you have an eligible single-signer loan, you can process your Skip a Payment in online banking. At this time, loans with joint signers must process Skip a Payment requests by visiting a branch or by contacting the call center at 334.260.2600 (local) or 800.776.6776 (toll-free). How it Works: • Skip one monthly payment on a qualifying MAX loan once per year. • Complete the request form and pay a $35 fee to schedule your skip. • Use the extra cash for bills, emergency expenses, holiday shopping, vacations, or any financial need. Skip a Payment is offered to eligible members during the summer and winter seasons. If you do not currently have $35 available in your account, you will not be able to process the Skip a Payment fee. Add funds to your account using Mobile Deposit, set up an external transfer, or deposit cash at your closest branch.
