Transactions Adding a Personal External Account

After being enrolled in online banking for 60 days or more, your private accounts at other financial institutions can be linked to digital banking with OlyFed. Now, you can transfer money between two banks from home. When you go to add another account, you are asked to verify your ownership of that account by confirming two small deposits OlyFed makes into the external account.

In the Transactions tab, click Add External Account . 1. Enter the account number. 2. Select the type of account using the “Account Type” drop-down. 3. Enter the financial institution’s routing number. These numbers are located at the bottom of a paper check or deposit slip from your checkbook. 4. Click the Continue button.

Note: In two to three business days, two micro-deposits will appear in your external account. Once you receive the deposits, go to the Verify External Account tab to verify the account.
