EARN A SCHOLARSHIP FTSB believes education is an investment in the future. Through our Earn ‘A’ Scholarship program, we are proud to award a $1,000 scholarship each year to one student from each of the school districts we serve. The scholarship is designed to reward academic achievement and provide support as students begin their freshman year of college. Students from the following school districts are eligible: North Iowa Community School District , Lake Mills Community School District , West Hancock Community School District, and United South Central School District. TEACH A CHILD TO SAVE At FTSB, we believe teaching children about money at an early age helps build confidence and good financial habits for the future. Each year, we partner with local schools through our “Teach a Child to Save” program for third grade students. As part of the program, FTSB employees visit third grade classrooms or students visit one of our bank locations to learn firsthand how a bank works, learn about saving money, setting goals, and basic banking concepts. Local schools we are currently partnered with include North Iowa Community School District , Lake Mills Community School District , West Hancock Community School District, and United South Central School District. CALENDAR CONTEST Each year FTSB coordinates a calendar photo contest as an opportunity for people to show pride for their communities. After photos are submitted, winners are selected by the FTSB Marketing Committee and winning entries are featured in the following year’s FTSB customer calendar. Each winner receives $100 cash.

VETERANS HONOR FTSB sincerely appreciates the men and women who have served and are currently serving in our armed forces.
