Security
By following our tips, Online Banking at United Federal Credit Union can be a safe and efficient method for handling your banking needs.
User Identification and Password Security starts at your computer. Never share your Login ID or password with anyone. Make sure your password is hard to guess by combining random numbers and letters instead of using your birth date, pet’s name or other obvious choices. Secure Sockets Layer Encryption (SSL). We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption, a trusted method of securing inter- nettransactions. This technology scrambles data as it travels between your computer and your financial institution, making it difficult for anyone to access your account information. Browser Registration In addition to your personal password security, we have added another layer of security called browser registration that runs in the background and helps verify your identity at login. Online Banking Safety Tips > Ensure your web browser, operating system, anti-virus software and other applications are current and support 128-bit encryption. > Memorize your passwords. > Exit your Online Banking session when finished. > Do not leave your computer unattended when logged into Online Banking. > Do not use public computers or unsecured WiFi when accessing Online Banking. > If you receive an error when logged into your Online Banking account, report the error to Member Service at (888) 982-1400.

Security
UFCU will never send unsolicited emails asking you to provide, update, or verify personal or confidential information via return email. If you receive an email inquiry allegedly from UFCU, please report the incident to Member Service as quickly as possible. To mitigate the risk of online fraud and identity theft, your first and best protection is awareness. Phishing Phishing is an online scam tactic that is used to lure users into unknowingly providing personal data, such as credit card information or Login IDs and passwords. Using realistic-looking emails and websites, this tactic attempts to gain the trust of unsuspecting targets and convince them that vital information is being requested by a vendor they may already have a relationship with, such as their financial institution. Identity Theft It is important that you are aware of the dangers of identity theft. Identity theft can occur when criminals find a way to steal your personal or other identifying information and assume the use of that data to access your personal accounts, open new accounts, apply for credit, purchase merchandise, and commit other crimes using your identity.
Fraud Prevention Tips > Do not open email attachments or click on a link from unsolicited sources. > Avoid completing email forms or messages that ask for personal or financial information. > Do not trust an email asking you to use a link for verification of login or account details. > Monitor your account transactions for unauthorized use. > Shred old financial information, invoices, charge receipts, checks, unwanted pre-approved credit offers and expired charge cards before disposing of them. > Contact the sender by phone if you are suspicious of an email attachment.

Enrollment New Banking Users
1. Type unitedfcu.com into the address bar on your browser. 2. Go to the Online Banking Login box on the Home Page, click Enroll . 3. This opens the Online Banking new enrollment account verification screen. Enter all the required information. It will be verified by comparing it to the current contact information in our system. When finished, click Submit Enrollment . If you need to update your contact information, please contact Member Services at (888) 982-1400. 4. A new browser window will open congratulating you for having successfully enrolled in Online Banking. Make note of your temporary password, you will need it to log in to Online Banking to complete the enrollment process. Follow the Click Here link instructions to go to the Home Page again. 7. You will be directed to a page where you are to select the delivery method of your Secure Access Code. This page will display the contact information on file for your account. Select either the phone, text message, or email option that will enable United Federal Credit Union to reach you immediately with your one- time Secure Access Code. 8. When you receive your six-digit Secure Access Code, enter it in the access code screen and click Submit . The secure access code is valid for only 15 minutes. If it expires, you must request a new one. 9. Once your access code has been accepted, you will be asked if you would like to register your device. If you register your device, you will not have to generate a new secure access code when you use that device in the future. 10. Review the welcome first time user screen, which presents a PDF link of the Online Banking Services Agreement. Please click the link to view the agreement. Read and acknowledge that you agree to the conditions by clicking, I Accept . 11. A view-only online profile screen will appear for your review. It will be grayed- out and you cannot make any changes at this point. However, please note any contact information that you would like to change in the future. Once you have accessed Online Banking, you will be able to use the Update Contact Info screen to make corrections. Click Submit then OK to continue. 12. If you agree to the eStatement and eLetter terms and conditions enter your email address and confirm by re-typing your email address. 13. You will be directed to the Home page. 14. Congratulations! You are now logged in to Online Banking with United Federal Credit Union. 5. Enter your newly created Login ID and click Login . 6. Enter your temporary password and click Login .

Logging In
Once you have enrolled, and logged into Online Banking at least once, follow these steps for subsequent logins.
1. From the website’s Online Banking login box, enter your Login ID and Password . Click Log In . 2. Forgot your password? Simply enter your Login ID, leave the Password field blank, and click on the Forgot Password? option. Click Log In .
What is a secure access code? You need a secure access code each time you login to our Online Banking system. It is delivered to you via email, phone call, or SMS text. If you delete the security certificate or “cookie” that activates your computer for later use, or if you log in from a new computer, you will need another secure access code.
Should I register my device? If this device is “private”, you may want to register to have it recognized for future logins to save time. We do not recommend registering a public device.

Home
The Home Screen will give you an overview of all of your Online Banking accounts at United Federal Credit Union displayed in a comprehensive list with available balances.
To View an Overview of Your Accounts
1. For account transaction history, click the account name to view the Account Details screen . Select Show Filters for search options. 2. Need an action done in a hurry? On the home
page you will notice options on the upper-right corner of the page. These Quick Action options allow you to swiftly: transfer money, view business transactions and pay bills.

Messages
Our message center allows you to communicate securely with UFCU. Messages can be saved by topic for easy reference. Check here for your alerts; credit union replies to your inquiries and credit union communications.
To View Your Messages:
Click on the Messages tab. 1. Messages are displayed at the left side of the screen. 2. You can delete or reply to a message in the upper right corner of the original message, or send a new message by selecting New Conversation .

Transactions
Funds Transfer
Access all UFCU accounts for single or recurring transfers. You may also transfer to and from your linked external accounts.
To Transfer Funds:
Click on the Funds Transfer tab. 1. Select the accounts you wish to transfer funds From and To using the drop-down menus. 2. Enter the dollar amount to be transferred and the date that you wish for the transfer to occur. 3. For a one-time transfer, click Submit Transfer.
You have the option to create a recurring transfer which will save you from having to remember to manually complete the transfer.

Member to Member Transfer
Our Person to Person Transfer feature allows you to send funds to another <
To Transfer to Another United Federal Credit Union member
Click Member to Member under the Transactions menu. 1 To begin, select one of the options to either make a single transfer to another holder, or Quick Link an account holder’s account for later use. Click Submit . 2 Enter the transfer information in the spaces provided, including the account from which funds will be debited, the amount, as well as the recipient’s email address and the last four digits of their account. Click Submit . 3 To link an account, enter the recipient’s email address and the last four digits of their account number. Click Submit .

Transactions
Activity Center
The Activity Center shows only your Online Banking transaction activity. Depending on the type of account and access, you can review and cancel unprocessed transactions. Whether individual or recurring transactions, view debits/credits and the status, type, amount, account and date of your online activity.
To View Unprocessed Transactions
Click Activity Center under the Payments/Transfers menu. 1. To locate transactions using the search method, simply enter pertinent transaction information within the space provided and click Search . You may also review the list provided under the tabs Single Transactions , Recurring Transactions , or Deposited Checks . 2. Payment detail entries will be displayed here for additional information purposes.

Additional Features
eStatements
Under the Transactions tab, click Statements , you will be able to easily view your current statement, a library of past statements, and view / change your statement delivery options.
To View Your eStatements:
Click Statements . 1 You can view a statement by selecting the icon next to the appropriate statement. 2 You can save a chosen statement to your computer by selecting the icon to the right. 3 Click on the link to view the statement agreement.

Bill Pay
Overview
With Online Bill Pay, it’s safe, fast and easy to manage your finances on your own terms. To enroll, click Bill Payment and complete the online enrollment form. Now you can do everything you need to from home, work or anywhere you have internet access. Plus, you’re not limited to business hours—Online Bill Pay is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!
With Online Bill Pay, You Can:
> Receive, view, manage and pay bills all on one convenient website. > Set up alerts for electronic bill arrivals. > Schedule automatic payment. > Review bill history and, for some billers, payment posting information. > Use multiple funding accounts to pay bills.

Navigation
Click Bill Payment under the Transactions menu to begin managing your bills online. The Payment Center is a guide to your billers, bills due, as well as editing or deleting scheduled payments.
To Setup a Payee
1. Enter the name of the payee in the “Pay someone new” field. Click Add . 2. Provide the account and other information. Click Continue .
3. Confirm information, then click Make Payments . 4. Enter the amount and date to pay. Click Pay .

Bill Pay
E-Bills
E-bills are a fast and convenient way to receive your bills each month. If your biller offers an electronic version of your bill, the option to set up an E-bill will be available under the biller name. After activating a biller with E-bills, you will start receiving your bill directly within your Online Bill Pay account. No need to shuffle through biller information or access each individual biller’s website to pay your bills—you can get it all right here.
To Setup a Payee
To set up an E-bill, begin from the Make Payments screen. 1. First, click the drop-down menu located next to the biller name. 2. Click the Sign up now! button.
3. Follow the instructions for logging into your biller’s site to verify the availability of E-bills. Next, enter and confirm your User Name and Password from your biller site account in the spaces provided. 4. Click Setup E-bill .

Scheduled Payments
No check, no pen, no problem! Our payment scheduling feature is the only thing you need to accomplish your bill pay needs — and with only a few quick and easy steps! Hassle-free bill pay is just a couple mouse clicks away.
To Setup a Scheduled Payment
Under Bills & Payments , the billers are listed by name and account number. 1. To schedule your payment, enter the Amount in the required field. Next, enter the Payment Due Date . You may even use the calendar feature for your convenience. 2. Click Pay when finished.

Automatic Payments
It may be convenient to set up a biller to receive payments on a regular basis, such as a loan. With Automatic Payments there is no need for repeating the same scheduling process each month.
To Setup n Automatic Payment:
Under the biller’s name, click Autopay . 1. Check pay automatically at regular intervals. 2. Enter the remaining details for the automatic payment. 3. When finished, click Save Changes .

Change / Cancel Payments
Even after you have scheduled a payment, you have the ability to change or cancel your payment up to the time it begins processing. This convenient feature gives you the freedom to change the way you make your payments.
To View Bill History
To access this feature, look for the Pending Payments box in the Payment Center . 1. Under Pending Payments click Edit to edit your payment in a secondary screen. You may change the Pay From Account, Pay Date or Pay Amount. 2. Click Cancel if you do not wish to process a payment.

View Bill History
View details, edit or cancel your pending payments to better customize your bill pay experience. You may also specify the amount of time prior to the present date to view your account activity.
To View Bill History
Begin from the Bills & Payments screen. 1. Click View history/reports to reveal recent payment history. 2. From the drop-down menu on the secondary screen, you may view reports for the current month or up to 12 months prior. Click View . 3. History information from your chosen criteria will display below. 4. Click to view Payment details or to Add a Note .

Branches or ATMs
Mapping from your current location, you can click on the Branches or ATMs button to locate your United Federal Credit Union’s locations and ATMs.

Stop Check Payment
Using Online Banking with United Federal Credit Union, you can initiate a stop check payment request from any device. Visit Activity Center to review the status of your request. The stop payment will remain in effect for six months. See our Fee Schedule for applicable fees.
To Intiate a Stop Payment Request :
Click on the Stop Payment tab. 1. Select request type; single or multiple checks. 2. Select an account, check number, and other requested information. 3. Click Send Request .

Add an External Account
In order to transfer funds from an account outside your main financial institution, you must first enroll the new external account. This will ensure the ability to make fund transfers to and from the outside account by integrating it into one, simple location.
To Add an External Account :
Click on the Add External Account tab. 1. To begin adding an external account, enter the Account Number and the financial institution’s Routing Number in the spaces provided. For reference, these numbers can be located towards the bottom of a paper check. Next, from the drop-down menu, choose the Account Type . 2. Click Continue . You should then receive micro deposits within 2-3 days in the added account to show the process has been initialized. Once you receive the amounts of your micro deposits, go to Verify External Account to enter the amounts and activate your external account.

Verify an External Account
Once you have made a request to add an external account, you will then be asked to verify the two micro deposits made to the new account to prove ownership.
To Verify an External Account :
Click on the Verify External Account tab. 1. To begin verifying the micro deposit amounts of your external account request, click Submit . You will then be directed to a new window. 2. Select the Account you would like to verify. 3. In the spaces provided, enter the amounts of the micro deposits. Click Submit to finish.

Reorder Checks
With Online Banking, you can conveniently reorder checks online.
If you notice that you are missing checks, please contact us right away so that we can take precautions to safeguard against identity theft and fraud.
To Reorder Checks:
Click on the Check Reorder tab. 1. You will be redirected to our check vendor’s website to complete your order.

Interest Plus Status
United Federal Credit Union offers Interest Plus Checking, an account that earns a high reward rate with enrollment to eStatements, direct deposit or ACH, and a minimum of ten debit card swipe and sign purchases (Credit transactions/Non-PIN based). This feature allows you to manage your current rewards status for Interest Plus Checking.
To View Your Interest Plus Checking Rewards Status:
Click on the Interest Plus Status tab. 1. View the requirements and current status of your Interest Plus Checking rewards.

CardPerks Rewards
Earn valuable reward points when you use your UFCU Visa® Check Card like a credit card by swiping and signing for purchases, instead of using your PIN. Or, by using your Gold or Platinum Visa® card. This feature allows you to manage your rewards balance and redeem points for travel, gift cards, and more.
To View Your CardPerks Rewards:
Click CardPerks Rewards under the Services menu. 1. You can redeem your points by clicking on the Travel, Gift Card, and Most Requested sections. 2. You can manage your account profile and activity in the Manage Account section.

Text Enrollment
Once enrolled in Text Banking, you can check balances, review account history and transfer funds from your Online Banking account using any text enabled device.
To Enroll in Text Banking
Click on the Text banking tab. 1. Click Enroll . 2. A new screen will appear and you will be asked to enter your member nuber and SSN and click Sign On .

Mobile Deposits
With our Mobile App on your Android or iOS device, you can deposit checks into your United Federal Credit Union Online Banking account by simply snapping a photo of a paper check.
To Deposit a Check via Your Smartphone:
This feature is only available when using our mobile app on your mobile device.
1. Choose the account to where you wish to make a deposit. 2. Enter check number and amount, then click Save . 3. Click the Capture Image button for each side.
4. Verify that all four corners of the check are visible and all elements are legible. 5. Take the image of the backside so that the endorsement is on the left side of the image.

Applications
United Federal Credit Union offers the convenient option to open an account or apply for a loan or mortgage anywhere with Online Banking.
To Apply for a New Account or Loan:
Open An Account You can apply online for a checking account, savings account, or certificate of deposit. Simply select an account, verify your information, and choose features & funding options. You will receive an email once your application is received and a followup email telling you whether it has been approved, plus any next steps. Apply for a Loan Use this convenient online applica- tion to apply for a UFCU loan. Simply fill out the appropriate fields and then click to submit the form.
Apply for a Mortgage You can get started with the mort- gage loan application process right from within Online Banking. The information you provide online will help us customize your mortgage options. When you’re ready to take the next step, one of our expert Mortgage Service Advisors will call you to complete the process.

Account Preferences
In Account Preferences , you can select name and viewing preferences for your Online and Text Banking accounts.
To Set up or Change your Viewing Preferences:
Click on the Settings tab. 1. When selecting Online , customize your account display name in Online Banking and choose the order preference for viewing.

Manage Bill Pay
In Manage Bill Pay , you can choose which account to withdraw your bill pay transactions from.
To Setup or Change Your Viewing Preferences:
Click on the Manage Bill Pay Accounts tab. 1. Choose the accounts from which you would like to withdraw money when making Bill Payments. 2. Click Save .

Security Preferences
In Security Preferences , you can change your password, Login ID and update contact options for delivery of your secure access code.
To Set Up or Change Your Security Preferences: Click on the Security Preferences tab.
Change Password: When changing your password, make sure you follow the guidelines for creating a strong valid password.
Challenge Code: For additional security, you have the option of creating a Challenge Code as part of the login process.
Secure Delivery: Make sure we have your correct email and phone number on file so you can receive secure access codes when logging in from an unregistered device.
Change Login ID Be sure to create a login that you will remember, but is not too recognizable.

Alerts
You can create and manage alerts to remind you of important dates, warn you about the status of your accounts, and when certain transactions occur. When you create an alert, you specify the conditions that trigger the alert and delivery options to receive that alert. All alerts will automatically be sent to your Online Banking account via Secure Messages, regardless of the additional delivery preferences you have established. To Edit Security Alert Delivery Preferences: Go to Security Alerts under the Settings menu. You can edit specific Account, History, and Transaction alert preferences found in Alerts under the Settings menu . Delivery preferences include: • Secure Message within Online Banking • Phone Number • SMS text message number • Email to an address you specify Create and manage alerts for your accounts. Enable/disable security alerts for account activity and edit delivery preferences for receiving alerts.
To Set Up Alerts:
Click on the Alerts tab. 1. To create an alert, click the Create New Alert button. 2. To view details of an already existing alert, choose the Click to view details link on the right end of the alert box.

Update Contact Info
It is important to maintain current contact information on your account. Changes are made in real-time.
To View Your Contact Info
Click on the Update Contact Info Tab. 1. Change the elements like name, address, email, and phone that you would like to be changed. 2. Click Submit to save.
