Any variances will result in an Exception item. Exceptions may be created due to the following reasons: • Duplicate Check Number: The item was previously paid. • Mismatch Amount: Amount does not match the upload amount or the manually created item amount • Paid Not Issued: The item was never loaded into the system as an issued check. • Stop Pay Item/Voided Item: The item was previously voided. • High Check Number: The check number is greater than the “High Check Number” set in the parameters. • Low Check Number: The check number is lower than the “Low Check Number” set in the parameters • Amount Exceeds Limit: The amount exceeds the “Amount Limit” set in the parameters. • Stale Dated Item Paid : The item is a stale dated check. A check is considered stale dated if it is older than 180 days. • Previously Paid Item Posted: The item was previously paid.
