Issue Templates Issue Templates define the format of your issued check file so the system can correctly read and process your check data. Templates map the columns in your file (such as check number and amount) to the required Positive Pay fields. Using an Issue Template helps ensure your issued check files upload correctly and reduces formatting errors. 2 1

In the Treasury Solutions tab, click Positive Pay / ACHPP . Then click the Submit button. 1. Use the “Change Module” drop-down to select “Check Positive pay.” 2. Use the “Manage” drop-down to select “Issue Templates.” 3. Click the Create New Template button. 4. Enter a template name. 5. Use the drop-down to select a file type. Once File Type is selected, specific instructions for each file type will appear, based on the selection. 6. Use the drop-down to select a template status. Active templates are used for loading issue files; inactive templates cannot be used for issue file loading.
7. (Optional) Enter the number of header rows. 8. (Optional) Enter the number of footer rows.
