Services Stop Payment Request

Single Check If you’re ever worried about a pending written check, you can initiate a stop payment request to prevent that check from being cashed. Once approved, the stop payment remains in effect for six months. If you need the current fee information, please contact us during our business hours at 800-322-8233. 1 2

In the Sidebar Menu , click Other Features then click Stop Payments . 1. Select an account using the “Account Number” drop-down 2. Click the Stop a Check button. 3. If placing a stop payment on one check, enter the check number into the Starting Check Number box. • If placing a stop payment on a range of checks, enter the check number into the Ending Check Number box in addition to the Starting Check Number box. 4. Enter the Payee or Description information. 5. Enter the Date on the Check . 6. Enter the Amount . 7. Click the Next button.

Note : You will be notified on the confirmation screen if there is a fee assessed for stopping a payment.
