International Wire FAQ What is dual approval for international wires?
Dual approval is an optional security feature that requires two separate Digital Banking users to initiate and authorize an international wire before it can be processed. The first person is responsible for creating the transaction, while the second person checks and approves the transaction. If your business opts into dual approval, then it is a required process on every international wire transfer and approvals must be completed by 5pm EST. If your company requires dual approval, multiple users are required. A request can be made by contacting your banker to require that all payments be authorized by a second user. Who can I contact for assistance with international wires? Please contact Business Engagement Center at 866-322-4249 Toll-free 866-322 4249 Monday thru Friday 8 am to 9 pm ET What is the cutoff time for international wires? The cutoff time is 5pm ET to ensure a payment is processed on the current day. Payments entered after 5pm ET will be processed the next business day. Please note payments cannot be submitted for a brief period between from 5:00-5:30pm ET. Are domestic wire transfers available? Domestic wires can be sent to US recipients using the Routing Transit Number, or RTN, for the US financial institution. However, you must enroll in advance for access to wire transfer service via Digital Banking. A monthly fee applies for wire module access and a per transaction fee applies to each wire transaction. See our Digital Banking fee schedule for more information. Is there a daily payment limit? Businesses are limited to $1,000,000 per day. Businesses that send more than $1,000,000 in one business day payments may be better suited for Commercial Advantage.
