6. Select a product or service or create a new one. For more information about creating a product or service, go to page 117. 7. Enter a quantity and a price. (The amount field will automatically populate.) 8. (Optional) Enter a description. 9. (Optional) Check the box to apply sales tax. 10. To add an additional product or service, click the “+ Add line item” link. 11. To enable sales tax, click the “Edit sales tax” link. Click the toggle, enter the sales tax rate and click the Save changes button. 12. (Optional) Enter a message. 13. After completing an invoice, you have a couple of options: a. Click the Send invoice button to send the invoice. b. Click the “Preview invoice” link to see what your customer will see when receiving this invoice.
