Getting Started New User Enrollment

If you’re new to Online Banking with Citizens National Bank, you need to complete the enrollment process the first time you log in. Once you complete these few quick steps, you’ll be on your way to banking everywhere you go!

1. Click the Log In button. 2. Click the “First time user? Enroll now” link. 3. Fill out the New User Enrollment Form with the required information, and click the Next button. 4. Protect your account with 2-step verification. Click the Get Started button.

5. Enter your phone number and click the Next button 6. Choose your verification method: voice or text message. 7. Enter your verification code and click the Verify button. 8. You’re all set! Click the Done button.

Note : You will be prompted to read and accept Citizens National Bank Online Banking disclosure prior to creating your username and password.

Getting Started Logging In

After your first-time enrollment, logging in is easy and only requires your username and password. If you are logging in on a device you have not previously registered, you need to request a two-factor authentication (2FA) code.

Logging Off For your security, you should always log off when you finish your Online Banking session. We may also log you off due to inactivity. 1. Click your name in the lower left corner of the screen. 2. Click the Sign out tab. 3. Close your internet browser.

Getting Started Resetting a Forgotten Password

If you happen to forget your password, you can easily reestablish a new one from the Citizens National Bank Home page—no need to call us!

5. (Optional) If you don’t remember your username or email click the “Try another way” link and enter your social security number and account number. 6. After successfully completing the two-factor authentication, you will be able to create a new password and log in.

After logging in, you are taken directly to the dashboard. From here, you can navigate to every feature within Online Banking. You can view the balances in your accounts, see your account summaries and more!

A. The navigation bar appears in every view on the left side of the screen. You can navigate to Online Banking features by selecting the appropriate drop-down tab. B. Your accounts are displayed in an account card with its balance. If you click an account card, you are taken to the Account Details page. C. The icon allows you to open a new CNB account, organize your accounts, change the account card view, organize your dashboard or link an account to view balances and transactions for accounts from another financial institution. D. Links let you quickly access different Online Banking features. E. Customizable cards appear on the dashboard, so you can easily access the features most important to you.

Selecting a Citizens National Bank account on the dashboard takes you to the Account Details page, where you can view every transaction pertaining to that account. From here, you can view details such as type of transaction, check images and account balances, so you stay organized and on top of your finances.

Security Protecting Your Information

Here at Citizens National Bank, we work hard to protect your personal information and provide you with a dependable online experience. However, we rely on you to take further precautions to assure the safety of your accounts. By following our tips, Online Banking can be a secure and efficient method for your banking needs. General Guidelines • Make sure your operating system and antivirus software are up to date. • Always use secure wireless (WiFi) networks that require a login ID and password. • Never leave your computer unattended while using Online Banking. • Monitor your recent account history for unauthorized transactions. • Always log off Online Banking when you’re finished and close the browser. Login ID and Password • Create strong passwords by using a mixture of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers and special characters. • Do not create passwords containing your initials or birthday. • Change your passwords periodically. • Memorize your passwords instead of writing them down. • Only register personal devices, and avoid using features that save your login IDs and passwords. Fraud Prevention • Do not open email attachments or click on links from unsolicited sources. • Avoid giving out personal information on the phone or through email. • Shred unwanted sensitive documents including receipts, checks, deposit slips, pre-approved credit card offers and expired cards. • Act quickly. If you suspect your financial information is compromised, call us immediately at 865-429-7521.

Security Change Username

You can change your username at any time. Create a unique username you will remember and follows our required guidelines.

Security Passkeys

A passkey is a digital key, stored on your device, that replaces traditional passwords and two factor authentication methods. Passkeys allow you to sign in to websites using your face, fingerprint or screen PIN.

Note: If you have not completed a high-risk action with in the last five minutes you may be asked to verify your identity using your preferred verification method throughout the passkey creation or removal process.

Select a passkey type. • Built-in biometrics: Use your current device’s facial recognition or fingerprint scanner to sign in. • Mobile phone or tablet: Sign in using your mobile phone or tablet by scanning a QR code.(Bluetooth may be required for this option.) • Security key with fingerprint scanner or PIN: Use a special physical security key that also includes a fingerprint sensor or 2nd password.

Two-factor authentication (2FA) is a security process where a user provides two distinct forms of identification to access an account.

Logging in with Security Key When loggin in you will be prompted to complete 2FA using your security key.

1. Insert your security key into the usb portal on your computer and click the Verify button.

Note : If you click the Verify button before your security key is inserted it will say “ cannot read security key.” Make sure the key is inserted the correct way, it may need to be flipped if it isn’t being read properly.

2. Place and hold your finger on the security key for about three seconds to verify your identity.

Alerts Alerts Overview

Stay on top of the transactions flowing to and from your accounts. When you create an alert through Online Banking, you specify the conditions that trigger that alert, so you stay on top of what’s important to you. Balance Alerts There should be no surprises when it comes to your finances. Balance Alerts can notify you when the balances in your accounts go below or above a set amount.

Transactions Transfers

Use the Transfers feature when you need make a one-time or recurring transfer between your Citizens National Bank or external accounts. These transactions go through automatically, so your money is always where you need it to be.

Adding an External Account Your accounts at other financial institutions can be linked to Online Banking with Citizens National Bank, so you can transfer money between two financial institutions without ever leaving home! When you go to add another account, you are asked to verify your ownership of that account by confirming two small deposits Citizens National Bank makes into the external account.

Click the Transfers tab . 1. Click the + External account button to add an external account. 2. High risk transactions, such as adding an external account, require you to confirm your password. 3. Enter the account name. 4. Enter the financial institution’s routing number. These numbers are located at the bottom of a paper check or deposit slip from your checkbook. 5. Enter the account number. 6. Select the type of account using the “Account Type” drop-down. 7. Click the Submit button. In one to three business days, two small deposits will appear in your external account. Once you receive the deposits, you will need to confirm the deposits.

Confirming an External Account As soon as Citizens National Bank makes two small deposits of less than a dollar into your external account, you are asked to verify those amounts within Online Banking. Once they are confirmed, you can begin transferring money to the external account.

Removing an External Account You can easily remove an external account if it is no longer needed. Any scheduled transfers involving the account will be deleted.
