Remote Deposit Capture Install Merchant Capture Scanner

Before creating deposits, the Merchant Capture scanner must be properly installed and configured on your workstation. This process ensures the scanner can communicate with the Remote Deposit Capture system and successfully scan check images. Follow the installation steps to connect the device and verify it is working correctly.

Note: Before beginning the installation: Make sure the scanner is unplugged from the computer. You’ll need admin rights on the computer or an admin password in order to do the install.

In the Services tab, click Remote Deposit Capture . 1. In the “Help” drop-down in the top right hand corner, select “Download Page.” 2. The most common scanners will be listed: • For Panini scanners choose Panini. Please note the drivers for Paninis can take 5-15 minutes to install. • For Digital Check TS 240 Choose the DigitalCheck TS Series and CX30 • For Canon CR50/80 choose Canon CR50/80 and CR-L1. Note: For users that are not scanning use the AdminNoScanner option.
