Getting Started Digital Banking for Business Overview
Whether you’re an enterprise, large corporation or small organization, our flexible Digital Banking for Business can efficiently serve you. Depending on your size, the first steps in banking online are setting up your users and recipients. After setting up these key entities, you can jump right in and experience our state-of-the-art system! Users If your business only needs one person with access to Digital Banking for Business, you can set up a single login ID and password. This is typical for small companies that primarily use basic online banking tools with occasional business transactions. For larger organizations, our system has the flexibility to establish multiple users, with specific access by user. The Western State Bank representative will work with you to determine which employees should have access and what that access should be. Recipients Recipients are people or businesses to whom you send money using a payment feature offered through Digital Banking for Business. After creating a profile for each recipient, you can choose the method to send them money and the respective transaction details. Each recipient is saved so you can quickly and easily make future payments.

Various types of payment methods are offered through Digital Banking for Business, including wire and ACH transfers. Though they are both quick electronic payments, wires are the fastest way to transfer money between banks. ACH transactions are processed through the ACH Network using a batch process, and the timing of funds availability depends on the type of ACH transaction and its settlement date. If you are interested in originating ACH or Wires through online banking contact Western State Banks Treasury Management.

Security Push Notifications
You can enroll to receive push notifications for security alerts and secure login multi-factor authentication (MFA). Push notifications are free from the bank. However, your mobile carrier may charge you a fee to receive this faster, more secure alternative to SMS and email. These notifications reduce fraud risk, give you greater control over your preferences, and deliver real-time alerts directly to your device. Push notifications will show up as a banner at the top of your lock screen or in your “notification tray.” You can manage your registered devices in Secure Delivery Contact Information, where you can update device names or remove a device if needed. Important Notes: • In session MFA push notifications for transaction initiation and other high-risk actions are not included. Secure access codes (SAC) via SMS and voice will continue to be used for MFA for these actions. • Push notifications are turned off by default and must be enabled • Users on older versions of the Digital Banking mobile app may need to update their app to access this feature.
Note: This feature is only available when using our mobile app on your device.
