2. Enter the deposit name. 3. Enter the amount of the total deposit. Zeroes automatically populate as cents. For example, if you enter an amount 5000, this populates as 50.00.
4. Use the drop-down to select an account for this deposit. 5. (Optional) Enter a store number or location number. 6. (Optional) Enter a serial number.
7. (Optional) Enter a customer number. 8. (Optional) Enter a deposit descriptor. 9. Click the Continue button. 10. Place the checks into the scanner. Click the Scan button at the bottom of the screen. 11. Monitor the Items Scanned and Items Processed counters at the bottom of the screen. If Items Processed falls behind by over 50 items, click the Stop Scan button on the Scan Navigator. When Items Processed catch up, click the Scan button. If Items Processed stops increasing, you may have lost your internet connection. Note: Record your Deposit ID number on something to attach to the front of your deposit after scanning. This is helpful if you need to refer back to this deposit. 12. Verify that the last item on the screen matches the last item in the scanner pocket and that the item number sprayed by your scanner is legible if applicable. You are now ready to fix errors, balance or create another deposit.
