Standard Business Online Banking

High Risk Transaction Code The High Risk Transaction Code (HRT), will allow you to place an extra layer of security on your finances by requiring a code to be received and entered before certain actions process. An HRT can be required for Login, Transfers, Payment Initiations & Approvals, Bill Pay, and Picture Pay. HRT is automatically enabled for Login activity.

Remote Deposit Capture Complete electronic deposits to available accounts by uploading check images through either a desk top or mobile device.

Bill Pay Enables you to pay bills to external businesses. You are able to manage scheduled payments, view payment history and create new payees with ease.

Manage Cards Allows you to enable or disable debit cards that are attached to the account. Also allows you to control where the card can be used, as well as setting spending controls on the card. Although you can change card limits, the limit may not increase above the Home Federal Bank allowed limit.

Enhanced Business Online Banking

Includes all Standard features as well as: Positive Pay

Allows you to guard against fraudulent check activity, such as checks paid but not issued, amount alterations, stale dated checks, payee alterations. Enables you to stop a fraudulent check before it clears the account.

Smart Transfers Supports automatic sweeps to assist you in maintaining target balances and maximization of earnings on excess funds. You will have the ability to select accounts to monitor, the balance type to monitor, the balance condition to monitor, and account to transfer to. Picture Pay Enables you to pay bills to external businesses by either manually creating a payee or by uploading a picture of a bill or invoice. An image of the invoice will attach to the transaction for future uses.

Business User Administrator The business administrator feature allows you to create, entitle, and manage additional users for the business.

Note : Each Enhanced Business Online Banking feature is a separate service within Enhanced Business Online Banking and requires account officer approval and appropriate account type for usage.

Wire Transactions Allows you to initiate an electronic transfer of funds from Home Federal Bank to another financial institution. As an extra layer of security, you can require all initiated payments to be approved prior to release. ACH File Transactions Allows you to initiate a file of debit or credit transactions to be processed through the Automated Clearing House for one or multiple recipients. As an extra layer of security, you can require all initiated payments to be approved prior to release.

Note : Each Enhanced Business Online Banking feature is a separate service within Enhanced Business Online Banking and requires account officer approval and appropriate account type for usage.

New Business Enrollment Setting up your custom online banking experience is as easy as requesting access. Requests can be made through your account officer, by visiting with branch personnel, or by contacting us at (318) 841-5330. Once the request has been made, needed features decided upon and access approved, our online team will create your business’s profile and provide all online credentials needed. Logging in After Enrollment On a desktop computer or tablet, type www.hfb.bank into your browser. On a mobile device, download our free Home Federal Bank Biz app from the Apple App Store or Google Play. Login using the Company ID, Username, and Password provided by Home Federal Bank or by the business’s online banking administrator. Note: If you lock yourself out with too many invalid login attempts, please contact Home Federal Bank at (318) 841-5330 during business hours or select the Login Assistance link for assistance.

Various types of payment methods are offered through Business Online Banking, including wire and ACH transfers. Though both methods are quick, electronic payments, wires are the fastest way to transfer money between accounts. ACH transactions can be sent as a single or batch process, and funds are generally not available until the next business day. Manage Users Overview When enabled, the Manage Users feature allows the Business Administrator to create users, edit user entitlements, and manage user credentials. The Manage Users feature allows the Business Administrator to view anyone with online access in one place.

Note : When the Manage Users feature is not enabled, user setup will be completed by Home Federal Bank.

Adding a New User A Business Administrator can set up a new user by creating a profile, unique login ID and password. Once you establish a user and their login credentials, you can begin assigning user entitlements.

Part 3 of 4: Editing Approval Limits for a Transaction Type A user’s approval limits can be adjusted, so you never have to worry about the dollar amount or number of transactions they make. You can set these restrictions for a daily basis, as well as per account.

1. Click the icon to show the limits for a feature. Edit the maximum amounts a user can send and the maximum number of transactions a user can perform. The maximum number cannot be higher than the business amount. 2. Click the Save button when you are finished making changes.

Note : You must establish approval limits for single and batch ACH transactions separately.

Part 4 of 4: Approval Rights Payments made through our ACH/Wire features offer an additional level of security by requiring transaction approval before the fund movement is processed. Those with approval rights can approve ACH/Wire transfers of those without approval rights. We offer three types of approval setups for your company and its ACH/Wire users. • Approval of other user’s ACH/Wire transfers, but not your own. • Approval of both your own ACH/Wire transfers and other’s. • Dual approval required –ACH/Wire transfer that require two users to approve it.

Once an ACH/Wire transfer has been submitted, those with approval authority will see a notification number next to the Business Approvals in the sidebar menu as well as receive a notification alert.

If payments are not approved before the effective date, they will become stale dated and need to be deleted. Once approved, the payment status will change to Approved and show on the Processed Payments page.

Business Banking

Authorized users with the Manage Users entitlement can make changes to existing users at any time. This is especially beneficial if someone’s job title changes or their approval limits need to be adjusted. Editing an Existing User’s Entitlements

Enter the name of the person or business receiving the ACH. 4. (Optional) Enter the recipient’s email address. 5. Enter a reference number. The reference number is used to differentiate between two recipients with the same name. This field is required and can be populated with an invoice number, employee number or other details unique to the recipient. 6. Enter their account number. 7. J1 Note : The ACH Description is a short (10-character) description that informs the receiver of the transaction’s purpose. The receiver will be able to see this description. For example: payroll, purchase or gas bill. ACH & Wire - Receiver and Intermediary Detail Some financial institutions use an in-between third-party bank called an intermediary to process funds. If your receiving bank requires an intermediary, you will need the financial institution’s wire routing number and address.

2. Select either Consumer or Business from the drop-down. Select Consumer if the recipient is an individual and select Business if the recipient is not an individual. 3. Enter the name of the person or business receiving the wire. 4. Enter the contact name. If you are sending the wire to a person, enter same name from step 3. 5. (Optional) Enter the recipient’s email address. 6. Enter a reference number. The reference number is used to differentiate between two recipients with the same name. This field is required and can be populated with an invoice number, employee number or other details unique to the recipient. 7. (Optional) Enter the phone number and fax number. 8. Enter the account number.
