Getting Started New User Enrollment
If you’re new to Online Banking with Northwest, you need to complete the enrollment process the first time you log in. Once you complete these few quick steps, you’ll be on your way to banking everywhere you go! 1. Type “northwest.bank” into your browser.
2. Click the Log In button. 3. Click the “Enroll Now” link.
4. Review and accept the enroll personal online banking agreement. 5. Fill out the registration form with the required information and click the Submit button. Note : The details you provide are verified by comparing them to your contact information in our system. If the information does not match, call us at 877-672-5678 to update your profile. 6. Choose the contact method that allows Northwest to reach you immediately with a confirmation code. This numbered code is only valid for a short time, and you will need to request a new one if it expires. 7. Enter the confirmation code and click the Submit button. 8. Create a user ID and password, then click the Register button. 9. Click the Continue button. 10. Select and answer your security questions. 11. Review your security questions and answers, and click the Submit button. 12. Congratulations! You have successfully logged in to Online Banking! If you have any questions or concerns, call us at 877-672-5678.

Getting Started Logging In
After your first-time enrollment, logging in is easy and only requires your user ID and password. If you are logging in on a device that is not recognized you will be prompted to enter a confirmation code.

Note : If you enter an incorrect password too many times, your account will be temporarily locked. Click the “Unlock/Forgot Password” link to unlock your account. Go to page 10 for more information.
Logging Off For your security, you should always log off when you finish your Online Banking session. We may also log you off due to inactivity. 1. Click the “Log Out” link in the upper right hand corner. 2. Close your internet browser.

Accounts Account Summary Overview
After logging in, you are taken directly to the Account Summary page. Here you can view the balances in your Northwest accounts, see your account history and more!

A. The navigation bar appears across the top of the screen. You can navigate to Online Banking features by selecting the appropriate drop-down. B. Keep an eye on credit score and credit report changes with real-time credit monitoring.

Accounts Account Activity Overview
Selecting a Northwest account on the Account Summary page takes you to the Account Activity page, where you can view every transaction pertaining to that account. Transactions can be searched by date range, type of transaction, description, check number or transaction amount range.

A. On the Account Summary page, you can click on an account name to view the Account Activity page. You can also click the Accounts tab and then click Account Summary . B. Click the “Details” link to view additional account details, which could include Account Name, Account Nickname, Account Number, Date Opened, Interest Rate, Year to Date Interest, Last Deposit Date, Last Deposit and Account Balance. C. Account History shows the last 30 days of transactions for this account by default. Transactions can be searched by date range, type of transaction, description, check number or transaction amount range. D. For additional transactions within the past 720 days, click the “Search” link. E. Download your transactions as a CSV file by clicking the “Download” link. F. Click the “Alerts” link to create alerts for your account. Go to page 123 for more information.

Accounts Hide/Unhide Accounts
Control which accounts are displayed on the Account Summary page.
Note : Hidden accounts will not be visible in funds transfers, etc.

In the Accounts tab, click Hide/Unhide Accounts . 1. Check and uncheck the boxes next to each account to unhide or hide the account. 2. Click the Save button when you are finished.

Card Management Card Management Overview
The Northwest Card Management service makes it easy to control and monitor when, where and how your cards are used. It lets you set spending limits, manage alerts, receive real-time notifications and turn a card off (and back on) at your convenience.

1. Log into our Northwest Online Banking or Mobile Banking app. Then tap the Cards tab. You will be presented with a 20 second video of tips to using Card Management while the system accesses your card information. When complete, tap the Get Started button. 2. The system will automatically populate the cards that correspond to your Online Banking User Tax ID/SSN and associated accounts.

To Add a New Card Manually add a card that is not listed.

1. Select “Add Card.” 2. Enter the card number manually or by using your phone’s camera and click the Done button. 3. Enter the card’s security code (CVC2/CVV2). 4. Enter the cardholder’s address. 5. Enter the card’s expiration date. 6. Tap the Next button. 7. Enter the security code that was sent to the cardholder and tap the Done button. 8. Tap the OK button.

Card Lock/Unlock If a card has been misplaced, lost or stolen, you can turn it off with a tap. If you find your card later, you can turn it back on just as fast.

Hide/Show Cards You won’t be able to manage a hidden card, and its activity will not appear in your transaction or spending data.

Set Primary Device In order to create location restrictions and receive alerts you must first designate your primary device.

Transaction Enrichment Transaction enrichment uses your device’s location to provide enhanced data on any in-person purchases you make, including store name, address, logo, contact information, and street view. 1

Note : This feature requires “Allow all the time” access to location to ensure accurate data even when the app is closed..

Card Management Card Details
View Digital Card You can click on the View Digital Card option to view your full card number, expiration date and CVV when you are ready to make an online purchase. This will save time by eliminating the need to search for the plastic card.

Spend Insights You can view your recent card transactions that include enriched transaction information like merchant name, location, contact details and more. You can also use the Spend Insights analytics option to see what, when and where transactions are occurring.

Card on File The card on file list helps you keep track of merchants where you have stored your card in their files for convenient one-time purchases. The recurring payments list shows merchants where you have set up recurring payments.

Card Management Manage Travel Plans
When you travel outside your normal spending area your risk score increases, which can cause transactions to be declined. To reduce the chance of declines, you can notify Northwest about your travel plans. With the Travel Plan feature you can: • Easily and securely create up to 2 travel plans. • Include up to 15 domestic states and/or international countries within each travel plan. • Submit the notification at your convenience, without having to call customer service. Card Management Report Card Lost/Stolen
When you tap the Report Card Lost/Stolen option, your card will be turned off to prevent unauthorized purchases. Recurring payments will still occur.

eStatements Viewing Your Statements
The eStatements feature is a great virtual filing system, saving paper and space in your home or office by allowing you to view and store your statements electronically.

In the Accounts tab, click eStatements . 1. Read through the Online Services Agreement & Disclosure then click the Accept button.

7. Select the account you would like to view. 8. Using the “For the period ending:” drop-down, select the date of the statement you would like to view. 9. Download and/or print a statement by clicking “Download Printable Document” link.

Stop Payment Stop Payment Request
Single Check If you’re ever worried about a pending written check, you can initiate a stop payment request to prevent that check from being processed.
Note : Before creating a stop payment you must accept the stop payment terms.

In the Accounts tab, click Stop Payment . 1. Select the appropriate account using the drop-down. 2. Select “Single Check.” 3. Enter the check number. 4. Enter the amount. 5. Enter the biller. 6. (Optional) Select a check date. 7. Use the drop-down to select a reason. 8. Click the Submit button when you are finished.

Multiple Checks If you’re ever worried about multiple pending written checks, you can initiate a stop payment request to prevent the checks from being processed.

Security Protecting Your Information
At Northwest, security and protection of your personal information is our top priority. Our Online and Mobile Banking allows you to take even further precautions to establish additional security. General Guidelines • Make sure your operating system and antivirus software are up to date. • Always use secure wireless (WiFi) networks that require a login ID and password. • Never leave your computer unattended while using Online Banking. • Monitor your recent account history for unauthorized transactions. • Always log off Online Banking when you’re finished and close the browser. Login ID and Password • Create strong passwords by using a mixture of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers and special characters. • Do not create passwords containing your initials or birthday. • Change your passwords periodically. • Memorize your passwords instead of writing them down. • Only register personal devices, and avoid using features that save your login IDs and passwords. Fraud Prevention • Do not open email attachments or click on links from unsolicited sources. • Avoid giving out personal information on the phone or through email. • Shred unwanted sensitive documents including receipts, checks, deposit slips, pre-approved credit card offers and expired cards. • Act quickly. If you suspect your financial information is compromised, call us immediately at 877-672-5678.

Security Profile Updates
We take security very seriously at Northwest. So we have added various tools to help you better protect your account information. You can add and manage these features in Profile Updates to strengthen your Online Banking experience. Change User ID You can also change your user ID at any time. Create a unique user ID you will remember and follow our required guidelines.

Security Questions For your protection, you can establish new security questions and answers. Just like changing your password frequently, changing your security questions and answers helps to ensure the security of your accounts. Security Message Overview
If you have questions about your accounts or need to speak with someone at Northwest, Messages allow you to communicate directly with a Northwest account holders service representative. From the Messages page, you can find replies, old messages or create new conversations.

Transfer Money Make a Transfer
Use the Make a Transfer feature when you need make a one-time or recurring transfer between your accounts. These transactions go through automatically, so your money is always where you need it to be.

In the Transfer Money tab, click Make a Transfer . 1. Select the accounts to transfer funds between using the “From” and “To” drop-downs. 2. (For loan payments) Select a payment option. 3. Enter the amount to transfer. 4. Use the drop-down to select a scheduling option.

Transfer Money Deposit Only Accounts
If you have a friend or relative that also banks through Northwest, Deposit Only Accounts allows you to send them money. After you provide the information below, a new deposit only account is added to your list of destination accounts on the “Make a Transfer” screen.

In the Transfer Money tab, click Transfer Accounts . 1. Click the Add Account button. 2. Click the Someone Else’s Account At Northwest Bank (Deposit Only) button. 3. Enter an account nickname. 4. Select an account type from the “Account Type” drop-down.
